The miraculous story of Cecil

Cecil is a 7-year-old female Beagle, who was taken into the care of the Beagle Breed Rescue Organisation from conditions characterised by extreme neglect.

As it can be seen in the picture, Cecil had a swelling of considerable size in her throat region. The veterinary examinations revealed that the growth was a tumour; what is more, its location made it inoperable. These exasperating news were aggravated by further problems: Cecil’s blood was swarming with microfilariae, meaning that she had heartworm disease, and her third eyelid was prolapsed as well. And, of course, neutering was also a necessity…

Everyone at the Beagle Rescue Organisation felt despair, but they did not give it up even for an instant: as always, also now they did their utmost to give Cecil a chance for the happy life of dogs having an owner. Based on the strategic agreement between Natural Pet Care System and the Beagle Breed Rescue Organisation, Cecil immediately started to receive Burgimmune Premium Immunoenhancer Combination in the usual dose, which was absolutely justified by her condition: the mass at the root of her tongue hampered and even physically obstructed swallowing.

There is a very expensive injectable drug that can be used against mast cell tumours. This was immediately ordered and administered to Cecil as soon as possible. About one week after the injection had been administered, Cecil’s head become swollen; at that time the dose of Burgimmune was increased and the product was given to the dog in a double dose for seven days. The swelling subsided; what is more, first it shrank to the size of a pea, and by now it has completely disappeared.

After Cecil had gotten better, her neutering and eye surgery could be performed simultaneously. Heartworm disease is treated by the slow kill method even now.

At present Cecil is completely free of clinical signs, and has been continuously receiving Burgimmune Premium Immunoenhancer Combination mixed in her food ever since. Her passion for life and appetite have returned, she has again become a really kind, high-spirited beagle, and what now she is waiting for is only a responsible, loving ‘dream’ owner!
